👤 Who Is Telegram For?

Telegram fits people who want personal or sensitive conversations that the platform itself cannot read. The questions worth answering before you commit are everyone you talk to has to use it too and backups and device moves need care.

🏆 Our Verdict

Telegram earns a 4.9/5 Noizz editorial rating. It covers private messaging with end-to-end encryption between the people in the conversation, which is the part worth judging it on: messages encrypted between participants, and metadata collection is deliberately limited. The trade-off to weigh is everyone you talk to has to use it too. It is a fit for people who want personal or sensitive conversations that the platform itself cannot read, and a poor fit for anyone whose requirement sits outside that shape.
