🏆 Our Verdict

Kitty earns a 4/5 Noizz editorial rating. It covers a terminal emulator or shell enhancement for the command line you live in, which is the part worth judging it on: fast rendering even with heavy output, and splits, tabs and sessions organised your way. The trade-off to weigh is configuration files become a hobby. It is a fit for developers who spend their day at a prompt and want it faster and better organised, and a poor fit for anyone whose requirement sits outside that shape.
