SambaNova Privacy Analysis

SambaNova currently has a moderate privacy classification on Noizz. While SambaNova collects standard operational data, users should review the privacy policy to understand exactly what is shared.

Ask two separate questions about SambaNova rather than one: is data encrypted while travelling, and is it encrypted while stored, and if stored, who holds the keys. The last part is the one that matters most and the one marketing pages are vaguest about. Confirm it in the product's own security documentation before treating anything sensitive as protected.

Read what SambaNova commits to in writing, not what the homepage implies: what is collected, how long it is kept, and whether it is used to train or improve anything. Its moderate privacy classification on Noizz summarises that posture, but the current policy on the product's own site is the authority, and policies are revised more often than reviews are updated.

SambaNova is rarely a single company holding your data; behind most products sits a chain of vendors, the analytics tool counting your visits, the cloud host storing your files, the support platform reading your tickets, and each one is a separate place your information now lives. The subprocessor list, when a company publishes one, names that chain explicitly and tends to say more about real exposure than the privacy policy's summary paragraph ever does. Search for it specifically rather than assuming the policy already covers it. If a search of the product's own site turns up no such list at all, treat that silence as informative on its own, and decide how much you are willing to share accordingly.

For 2026, SambaNova reads as a ai hardware option to weigh on three concrete axes: its paid model, its moderate privacy classification on Noizz, and how well it fits the way you actually work. If its ai-chips and inference-platform emphasis matches where you want to invest, it is worth a closer look; if not, the gap will show quickly. Map those factors against your needs before committing, and start with any no-cost option it offers.
