Best network reliability in independent tests. $35 activation fees. $2/day international travel pass. Complex tier system with confusing add-ons. Device payment requirements lock you in for 36 months. Verizon Media (now sold) was caught injecting tracking supercookies into mobile traffic without consent, earning a $1.35M FCC fine. Verizon sells anonymized customer location data to data brokers. Their Fios internet is excellent where available but limited to select metro areas. The premium network comes with premium surveillance: Verizon Custom Experience collects browsing history, app usage, and location data for advertising by default.
