Google Fi Review (2026)
A phone plan that works worldwide. Flexible pricing, automatic network switching.
About Google Fi
Google Fi is Google's MVNO phone service that automatically switches between T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Wi-Fi networks for optimal coverage. International coverage in 200+ countries at no extra charge. Pay only for data you use on the Flexible plan ($20/mo base + $10/GB). Simply Unlimited at $50/mo. Unlike AT&T ($75/mo for unlimited, international roaming $10/day, locked phones, hidden fees), T-Mobile ($70/mo Magenta, throttled video, deprioritized data after 50GB), or Verizon ($80/mo, $2/day travel pass, activation fees), Google Fi has no contracts, no activation fees, no hidden charges, and works in 200+ countries without roaming fees. PRIVACY NOTE: Google Fi is a Google product. Google collects location data, call metadata, and network usage for advertising. Your phone plan data feeds the same profile Google builds from Search, Gmail, Maps, and YouTube. Fi is convenient and affordable but not private. Privacy-conscious users should weigh the cost savings against Google's data collection.
